The town of Alcudia is located approximately in the middle of the municipal area, just between the two bays, Badia de Pollen\u00e7a and Badia d&#8217;Alcudia, at the foot of the peninsula.<br \/>\nYour Port d&#8217;Alcudia, today a tourist resort, is situated south of the Bay of Alcudia. Alcudia offers its guests a holiday full of opportunities: history, culture, beach, mountains, lagoons and also the necessary entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>History<\/strong><br \/>\nAlcudia, the hill called the Moors, the city that built them. Quintus Caecilius Metellus, the commander of the invading group, founded Pollentia, the Strong, the Almighty, as the capital of the new province: remained of the buildings like fountains, statues, luxury homes, etc. are now in ruins and the Teatre Roma as early as 1 . Century BC, this was the smallest of the 23 Roman theaters in Spain, with its 2,000 seats. The Sunday market is a must, otherwise you will find serene tranquility. The public library Can Torro was developed in close collaboration with the Public Library of G\u00fctersloh.
