The village Deía, which is only a stone’s throw away from the clear Mediterranean, provides a quite impressing framework for one of the most famous hotels of the world. Two manors from the 16th and 17th century, which have been carefully restored, maintained and equipped with local antiques and drapery, endow the hotel with luxury, style, charm and character. Deía adjoins to the communities Valldemossa, Bunyola and Sòller. The village is located embedded between the sea and the Tramuntana range, whose summit, the Teix, arises behind the “La Residencia”.

Arrangement
La Residencia provides two tennis courts: one hard court with floodlight and a court with artificial turf, both surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges with view to the Mediterranean. In the Spa & wellness area you will find a whirlpool and an outdoor swimming pool with a spectacular view to the sea and mountains, a sauna, a steam bath, as well a new beauty salon with 6 different beauty cabins, four of them with a private terrace, from which you can enjoy a massage with a marvellous view to Deía. The fitness room is equipped with Cardio-sets and you can also lift weights there. A personal fitness trainer can be booked through the reception.
Accomodation
The 59 rooms (including Junior suites and Suites) are equipped individually with all the imaginable comfort in a traditional Majorcan style. The suites partly dispose of a private pool. Through your window you will have a view around the ample scenic gardens, from which come the fresh herbs and the olive oil for the kitchen, the fruits for the home-made jam as well as the fresh flowers for the rooms.

Culinary Offer
The restaurant El Olivo is situated in the former Son Moragues oil mill. The mill still exists. The restaurant counts to the best of the island and whole Spain. Candle light provides a romantic atmosphere. The service is first class, friendly and attentive. A Sommelier will select the right Spanish wine for you, which will correspond with the delicious local cuisine. In the second restaurant Son Fony the guest dines in an informal atmosphere, in the Son Fony local Mediterranean cuisine will be offered.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Son Termens, 18 holes. The other golf courses in the Southwest of Majorca are all reachable within 45 Minutes by car.
Driving Direction
From the airport follow the signage to Palma. Shortly before reaching the city, you will see the exit “Via Cintura”, where you turn off. Exit for “Valldemossa” and drive towards Valldemossa. The street leads into the mountains. You will pass Valldemossa and at the end of the village turn right towards “Deía”. This street goes along the coast with a terrific view. You will reach Deía. When you drive through the centre of the village, you will see a sign of the hotel on a stone wall on the right side of the street. To the hotel entrance turn right and ascend the hill. Driving time from the airport 45 minutes.
