The Majorcan luxury finca is located only 4 km from Esporles, on the southern branch of the mighty mountain range of Sierra de Tramuntana. The valley of Es Verger is situated here, a nature reserve with breathtaking views over the south of the Island. On the mountain slope of the La Fita del Rams, at 510 m altitude lays the 16th century manor “La Posada del Marques”. This mansion was converted to a luxurious 4-star hotel in 1993, at which the original architectural forms have been preserved. The clever fusion of the late middle aged architecture, modern elements and functionality combined with luxurious comfort will dazzle you.

Culinary Offer
The restaurant is situated n the former “Tafona” (oil mill). It counts to the most beautiful restaurants of the island. At times, when the Majorcan family of the “Marques de Verger” still cultivated this manor, it extracted olive oil from the surrounding olive groves and sold it on the market. The old oil mill you can still admire in an original condition, an incomparable setting for enjoying in a stylish atmosphere.The “Sa Tafona” provides a diversified and refined culinary offer with international specialities, but also Majorcan dishes, which are only prepared from fresh products of the island - not only for hotel guests. On the menu you will also find something for the “little hunger in-between”. A well assorted wine cellar with plants of well known local winemakers top off the offer. In the summer months dined will be on the inner courtyard terrace with marvellous panoramic view to Palma de Mallorca. Particularly romantic this view will be in the evening hours, when the city turns into a breathtaking sea of lights.

The golf course Son Termens, 18 hole, PAR 72 is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. Hotel guests will receive a 10% greenfee reduction.
Driving Direction
From the airport take the Via Cintura towards Andratx. Exit Valldemossa, direction Esporles. In Esporles, turn left towards Es Verger, curvaceous drive up (4km) to the hotel. Driving time from the airport about 40 minutes.
